On November 16th Her Majesty Queen Beatrix officially opened Erick van Egeraat’s Drents Museum in Assen. During the festive ceremonies Museum-director Michel van Maarseveen and others complimented Erick van Egeraat on bringing a symbiotic relationship between the existing historic Museum and the new addition. The Drents Museum is Erick van Egeraat’s fourth Museum – design ; the natural history museum in Rotterdam, Crawford Art Gallery in Cork and the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art preceded the remarkable design in Assen which will be open for public on the November 17th.
