The illuminating design of Erick van Egeraat for the Incinerator at Roskilde is one step closer to its realisation. In mid December the first lighting tests were performed successfully. During sunset a gentle light will appear throughout the perforated facade. Soon local residents and also travelers from Roskilde Station or the nearby highway will be able to enjoy the glowing beacon.
The design will be realized spring 2014.
