The Roskilde Incineration Line tower in Roskilde, Denmark turns orange in honour of Erick van Egeraat’s design and the 2014 Roskilde Festival. Roskilde municipality spokesman Carsten Sivertsen states: “What Erick van Egeraat has done is incredible. It was a massive factory, now it is a beautiful building. With LED-lighting it can take on any colour.” In September 2014 crown prince Frederik will officially open the new energy plant, producing electricity and power for the whole Roskilde region.
