In Lyon, construction works of the ‘Lyon Confluence’ residential project are progressing on schedule. The project is a mega-building, formed by the designs of MVRDV, PGA (Pierre Gautier), MGA (Manuelle Gautrand), ECDM (Emmanuel Combarel & Dominique Marrec) and Design Erick van Egeraat; Erick van Egeraat designed the North end of the building, with a dramatized opening and stairs linking the elevated courtyard space with the Rue Casimir Périer and its surroundings. The façade is clad in massive Siberian larch panels and enameled glazing. The building is scheduled for completion on July 2010.
