The design of Bay Mansion is uncompromisingly contemporary, suitable for comfortable and discreet living. The villa provides a 21st century style and atmosphere which integrates the daily experience of its unique natural surroundings into its spaces. Several pavilions, containing private quarters, are spread on the site. This way the mansion adapts its scale to the context, and dissolves into it. Each pavilion has its individual connection to a public zone, containing living, dining, bar and sports areas. This public zone is covered by an enormous vaulted ceiling, thus differentiating the different zones like dining and living from each other; and referring to ceilings types of traditional Russian architecture. The Bay Mansion will be constructed in concrete, and finished in natural stone, wood, polyester and mosaics.
