MySky Yacht Interior
Oss, Netherlands
MySky is a 51m full displacement long range motor yacht of 600GT with a range of 5.400 nm at 10 knots. Her bold but sleek exterior is designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. Flush mounted tinted windows thermo bonded to the superstructure create a continuous wall of glass that gives this vessel a very distinctive look.
Erick van Egeraat designed the ultra-contemporary, sharp and sophisticated interior. Emphasizing a strong contrast between dark and light throughout the yacht, a homogenous and luxurious atmosphere is created; combining crisp white leather with dark high-gloss Makassar wood and showing beautiful natural stone inlay patterns of spectacularly patterned back-lit white onyx into a black marble base.
MySky accommodates 10 guests in four cabins. The spacious full beam master suite is located on the main deck forward and boasts a large bathroom including a full natural stone clad steam shower and a spacious walk-in closet. The four guest cabins are located on the lower deck.
The main saloon aft, with its large circular dining, lounge and bar area with a 6m2 LED screen, connects to the main deck aft, which organizes built-in settees and seats around two low coffee tables. The upper deck lounge, with its 270 degrees view and circular seating area, opens onto the aft terrace, accommodating a large dining table ideal for al fresco dining, even at sea. The sundeck’s large jacuzzi, surrounded by sun-pads to aft, is perfect for total relaxation. The touch-and-go helicopter pad at the bridge, turns into a large sun terrace providing secluded lounging even when the boat is docked stern into the marinas.

Door handle ‘Erick’ is part of the P+E Top Line, a series of high quality, exclusive design door handles manufactured by Post en Eger. For the interior of the yacht, a limited edition of the ‘Erick’ door handle was developed with special finishing materials in line with the overall interior design.
Designed to perfection and made with skilled craftsmanship, this interior wall takes what belongs to nature and transforms it into a fine, elegant masterpiece. The white onyx is inserted and glued at the perimeter of each fragment into a large black marble slab. During the cutting process the two materials were mechanically fixed together for a perfect match of shapes.
The handrail is recessed in the perimeter wall of the spiral stair and follows the circular shape. The fluid shape resembles traditional handmade wooden stair handrails but executed according to high technical and functional requirements of today.
