Housing Zhyvopisnaya is a residential project that is a part of Russian projects series, another step for Erick van Egeraat Associated Architects in its progression east. These projects were presented at Aedes Est in Berlin, 2003.

Seeking to develop an architecture that can inspire, offering temptation as well as solace. The opportunity to work in the former USSR capital on several projects proved to be a completely different experience in comparison to those in Eastern Europe. The EEA projects in Moscow express a desire to bridge the potential gap between progress and development.
