Since 2013, Erick van Egeraat has held a series of lectures in St. Petersburg, Budapest, Sofia and Yekaterinburg titled ‘Galvanising the (European) City’.
In the latest lecture in this series, in Athens, Erick van Egeraat will further elaborate his view on the architectural profession, the world we live in, and how to make our cities profoundly better in any socio-economic circumstance. Not exclusively by adding new buildings, but by identifying and maximizing the potential of what is available to us here and now; by enriching, reprogramming, transforming and adding value to the cities that we live in.
